It’s a pricey place, but probably it is because of the area..
We ordered 2 different tacos (one with a crab, another one with a shrimp) - it is 3/5.
Paella was okay, just strange (for me) to see green peas and pepper in it.
Chowder is good (4/5) but the portion size is small and costs like normal one in other places.
In general, good place to try some seafood near the sea 🌊

What a great find!! We were in Dun Laoghaire for a cruise. We got back from our excursion about 1 PM and wanted something local for lunch. We looked on Google Maps and this place looked great and was only a short walk down along the shore. It's a very popular place which follows the Anthony Bourdain rule of making sure you eat at places with a line since that means food is running over fast.

We waited about ten minutes for a table and were then seated at a great table by the window. We ordered a couple of beers along with our food and just enjoyed the quiant ambiance of the restaurant. The food arrived and it looked fantastic. We ordered the seafood chowder, the Irish mussels and the fish and chips. All very tasty however the star of the show was definitely the mussels. I've had mussels at hundreds of places over the years but these definitely stand out as some of the best. That cider cream and chorizo combination was so savory and rich. It was a good thing you provided some hearty bread to sop up the broth. The chowder was excellent as well with a lot of chunks of fish. I liked how the celery was just barely cooked so it still had a little bite to it.

I don't know when I'll be back to Dun Laoghaire, but I will always remember my lunch here. Thanks for a great meal and fantastic service.

Had super fresh, delicious mussels and a refreshing limoncello spritz. Loved the beach shack chic and relaxed atmosphere. I was also eyeing some of the other dishes going to other tables like the tacos. So will definitely be back 😋
